us this opportunity to dress up in whatever type of costume

that is, they are only open a month or two before Halloween.
What's worse, is that it's hard enough to find one - what if
that one shop doesn't have what you're looking for? You
might end up picking out something you didn't really want,
simply because who wants to go through Halloween without a
costume?

but invariably, you'll miss something, simply because you

can be misleading, and while costume shops don't generally
allow you to, you can get away with trying a costume on
before purchase. Not possible through your computer, so
please don't try.
